First Resturant Review: Aki Japanese Resturant

11513 Santa Monica Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90025-3007

Aki's is your classic Japanese resturant. The resturant size is of the classic Japanese style: not exactly a hole-in-the-wall type of place, and not a large food warehouse either. Personally, I think this resturant may be the best classic Japanese food resturant in West L.A.. The resturant includes a small sushi bar, and regular seating for about 30-40 customers.

Here's a classic. Beef teriyaki with tempura. They make it very well here. I'd recommend it for first timers or for people not too familiar with Japanese food.

The sukiyaki (above) comes in chicken, beef, or shrimp. All of the meals naturally come with miso soup, rice, and sunemono.

The sukiyaki with tempura combo is also very good. It runs about $14 for the combo.

Here is one version of the "Golden Dinner". It comes with a lot of food and costs about $22. It comes with tempura, beef and chicken teriyaki, and sashimi.

Holy crap...  I think this woman is officially my dream girl!

This is the Japanese model, Juno!

Everything physically about this girl is amazing! Her skin tone, her eyes, her body, her hair... wow! I think this woman has got to be one of, if not the most beautiful woman I have ever seen!

However, even if I knew her and had a chance to date her but her personality sucked, I wouldn't date her. For me, personality is not something that can be traded for looks.

The Streets of Sao Paulo

Here are some random pictures of the streets of Sao Paulo from a taxi on the way to Patio Higienopolis. Enough said.

So, what do you think of Brasil?

Time to remodel!

I'm making some adjustments to this xanga. I'm going to make this site once again my primary photo web page. Also, I will be reviewing and then posting my reviews of various Los Angeles restaurants. Just for fun.

To begin, I'll post some pictures of my Brasil trip. Valeu!

Here's the view from my hotel in Sao Paulo. The area is known as Bom Retiro.

This is my friend Carol's little sister "Minji"

The food in Brasil is brilliant. Here is meu amigo "Kiho" and his girlfriend Fabiana.

Here's some more Brazilian food. Yes, that's a pineapple filled with ice cream!

Huge huh? Delicious!

Here's my good friend Jimy! I've been hanging out at her office a lot. She's truely good company when you need to talk with someone.

Bonitinha, nao?

She is really a hard worker. You need to work hard in Brasil to survive. To thrive, you need a college education. The same is true in the US as I'm finding.

Futebol! The soul of Brasil! (*Note: this is actually futsal, but part of the beautiful game none-the-less.)
